Backpack drive

At the Jckapuwa Foundation, we believe every child deserves to start the school year with confidence and the tools to succeed. Our annual Backpack Drive provides new backpacks filled with essential school supplies —notebooks, pencils, folders, and more—to underserved children in Kenema.

The Children of JCKapuwa

At J.C.Kapuwa, the children call this place a home, ranging in age from three to seventeen. Among them are children with special needs, whose unique strengths and challenges are embrace as part of the foundation’s mission to care for every child. The staff-caregivers, volunteers, work tirelessly to ensure each child feels seen, valued and supported.
